I had been living with my folks ever since my divorce, and I really appreciated their support, both financially as well as emotionally. They helped me through the roughest part of my life, and that allowed me to heal. About 15 months after the divorce was final, I had paid off my debt and saved a small amount of money. I knew that it was time to look at apartments in the area, because I had decided that I was going to stay in Towson. My parents offered to let me stay with them. While I did appreciate that offer, I knew that it was time for me to move out on my own.
I needed to take my life back, and the best way to do that was to start living again. I looked at apartment complexes in the area, and I really liked the information that I saw associated with Rodgers Forge apartments. I was not really too interested in much more than what the apartments looked like on the inside, but that all changed when I looked at the website and was able to see exactly what amenities are offered for both the interior of the apartments as well as the community features.
When I felt that spark of interest, I knew that I was going to be okay. I could have applied online for an apartment, but I was hoping to see the inside of one and take a tour of the grounds before I made a decision. I went over there and talked to a member of the management team, and I was given a tour on the spot. I fell in love with everything there, and I filled out an application right then and there. It feels incredible to get this part of my life back!
