I became highly interested in politics in my freshman year of high school. This happened completely by accident. I tagged along with a friend to one of their political clubs on campus, and I had no interest in going. Once I was there I loved every bit of it. I later went on to get my political science degree, and I have interns for very high-profile senators in two different states. Now, I’m looking for Dupont Circle apartments for rent in Washington. I am not sure where my career will take me, but I hope to push myself as far as I can.
Although everyone first learns about all of the history that that comes from Washington DC from a very young age in school, I actually didn’t have a chance to visit the area until I was in my twenties. I just joined the debate Club at my University, and it’s some point we all needed to earn money to go towards taking a trip there. That is something that I knew that I could miss. I worked hard to sell magazines and sell raffle tickets to make sure that I made enough money to make it there. I knew that I would regret it in a big way if I didn’t get to go.
That college trip changed my life. It helped me to feel even closer to the political world. Seeing great historical places filled my heart in in ways that nothing else in my life had. I knew I had to move there one day. Jumping to present day, that time has come. I make enough money now that I will be able to afford place in one of the historical districts in the city. I had a chance to visit the exact same district when I was here previously on my college debate trip. I have never forgotten it, and it’s the first place I started looking at for a nice apartment.
